Alan Paukman is a licensed architect from New York City. A passionate traveler, he has visited and documented architectural masterpieces in 50 countries. Recently, he relocated to New Orleans after a 9-month road trip across the United States.

Alan earned a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a BA from NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study. His academic involvement includes visiting critic roles at Columbia University, Cornell University, and Barnard College. He has also been an Adjunct Associate Professor at NYIT's School of Architecture and Design.

In addition to his solo architectural practice, Alan's professional experience spans roles as an architect at Foster + Partners, a retail designer for Calvin Klein, and co-founder of Nikolai Rose, a jewelry design studio. He also co-founded Swelter House, a design-build company creating saunas and bathing spaces for private residences.

Over 30 publications have recognized his work, including Architectural Digest, Vogue, and Vanity Fair. Alan's design philosophy emphasizes honest materials, precise geometry, and sensory experiences.
